More updates on Wohler Bridge - closures Feb. 9-13.Upcoming Work and ScheduleAt this time, the contractor, Ghilotti Construction Company, is requesting weekday closures next week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., to allow crews to continue bird netting and related environmental work. While the full week is currently requested to ensure adequate time, it is possible that work may be completed sooner.
The County just informed me the the work on the bird netting has been moved up. Wohler bridge will be closed starting February 4th from 8am-5pm and is expected to take "multiple days" - so avoid planning routes over the bridge from February 4th until I hear the bridge is re-opened.
Update on Wohler Bridge closures - closure likely starting 2/5 and lasting several days. Avoid routes that cross Wohler Bridge
Bird Netting Installation – Mid to Late Next Week (Tentatively Starting Thursday, 2/5)

Wohler Bridge Project Update🚧
We’re moving forward with the next phase of bridge construction. Upcoming work includes required environmental mitigation and inspections, which may result in partial bridge closures or significant delays in late January or February. Schedules can change, and we’ll share updates as soon as details are confirmed.
Also Late January or February – Upper Truss Inspection
An additional one to two days of intermittent bridge closures will be required for inspection of the bridge’s upper truss. This work will involve a man-lift positioned on the bridge deck to allow engineers to inspect existing rivets at the top of the structure.
Multiple road closures due to flooding right now. Please avoid these roads with your routes - look for updates from the sources below.
