Street Skills & Bicycle Handling

June 28th, 9am-noon
at Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition, 750 Mendocino Ave, Santa Rosa.

Based on League of American Bicyclist (LAB)’s Smart Cycling education program, this 3 hour class will include classroom instruction, parking lot drills and a short A-pace bike ride. Please bring a bicycle in good working order. While all members are welcome to take the class and will likely benefit, the curriculum was designed with A and A/B riders in mind.

You must be an SRCC member to take the class, and the club is subsidizing the class, paying for more than half of the cost. The cost for participants is $10 each, and pre-registration is required.

Lead instructor: Erik West, owner of Meet Your Bike (http://www.meetyourbike.com) has taught safe cycling to thousands of students since 1999. He has been a League of American Bicyclists Certified Instructor since 2005 and is a certified bicycle mechanic.
