Beat the heat this weekend with forested roads and cool ocean air. All levels are welcome, but if you plan to ride faster or slower than the ride leader you may be on your own. All riders should carry a route slip or be familiar with the route and bailout options.
This ride has three major climbs (on rough or unpaved roads) and three big descents (on good pavement). Water, food and restrooms are available at the Fort Ross Store at Mile 25 and in Jenner at Mile 40. Some riders may choose to pause at Fort Ross State Historic Park before starting up Fort Ross Road from the coast -- entry to the park is free for cyclists, and it is a particularly nice place to visit on a clear summer's day.
Click here for the Club Ride Info Forum where ride leaders may post the route and other relevant information about the ride, including any changes in start time or location. Subscription to the forum will ensure you receive email updates of any changes.
