This is a not so traveled ride with some beautiful country with some steep climbs. The first two climbs of the day are the toughest being Timber Cove and Hauser Bridge and after that the rest are not as tough with some 10-12% thrown in at spots. Most of the climbing will be done by mile 25 with the last 1,000' in the rollers down the coast the last 19 miles back to Ft. Ross. I would recommend your bike be in great riding shape and that you have done some 4500-5000' climbs in the last few weeks as you will be riding out in the far reaches of Sonoma County. There will be a lunch break up at Annapolis or Stewarts Point. Try to carpool with others to the ride start.
