We'll stay on 128 into Calistoga with an optional bathroom break at Pioneer Park. Then we'll zigzag through Calistoga onto the Silverado Trail. At mile 26 we can stop for another bathroom break at Jacob Meily Park. Afterwards we will head to my favorite lunch spot Giugni's Deli for an optional sandwich. Then we will tackle the only big hill of the day: Spring Mtn. We'll return to the start via Chalk Hill. If the weather holds, we can climb an out-and-back on Pine Flat to the guardrail for 20 bonus miles (I'm not kidding). Bring your rain jacket. The forecast calls for less than 25% chance of showers in Healdsburg, Calistoga and Santa Rosa; I plan to ride this rain or shine.
