As soon as I read in the PD that there was a 20-foot mudslide on Skaggs, I knew I had to scope it out and ride it. The road is passable, but beware a patch of gravel stretches about 25 yards going uphill, and it may be advisable to walk that stretch of road.

Lunch will be at Stewart's Point (mile 48). We'll stop at the Cazadero Store for more fuel at mile 75. Come prepared with 2 water bottles and plenty of pocket food. It should be a cool day, with mild winds.
