SRCC's Happy Hour Ride Series
inaugural ride on the 4th Wednesday during longer daylight months (March to September, we got rained out on March 27).

Led by  Mike Sarmiento  sarmientomike@gmail.com  415-307-4871

Meet at Cotati Vet's Building north parking lot area , by 5:30 pm,
we roll at 5:40 pm after quick intros, route / regroup discussion, and Q&A.

Since it will get darker towards the end of the ride, make sure to wear highly visible clothing and make yourself conspicuous with adequately charged taillight and headlight, have your bike in good working condition, carry a spare tube/flat repair kit, bike pump/C02, cell phone, etc.

AB & B(+) pace so that we finish before sunset, 2,200 feet elevation to help us with our April Alpina goals!  We'll break up into B(+) and AB groups, and each group will have one planned re-group at the summits / U-turn of Lichau and Pressley Roads (mile 9 and mile 15), along with natural regroups at stop signs/lights/left turns.  Mike will ride at AB pace and run sweep if needed.

Please print a route slip or upload the Ride With GPS route to your bike computer or phone.

Maybe someone would like to lead another monthly Happy Hour ride, say on the second Monday or Friday (hint hint!) so we can ride together twice a month or more? (I'm happy to mentor and help you coordinate, route plan, etc. - LMK, and btw, 2nd Weds of the month is the monthly member meeting, so Mon or Fri works better).

PLEASE arrive at LEAST 10 minutes before the ride start time and be ready to ride at the start time.

  • Visitors are welcome on their first club ride without joining the club but must sign this Liability Release. Please print, sign it and give it to the ride leader before the ride. Please note that this privilege may only be used once - you must become a member before attending your second club ride.
