and Bike East Bay for the
 
5th Annual RSR Ride 

We will meet at 9:15 am at the Larkspur Ferry parking lot (the side close to Sir Francis Drake Blvd) and roll out at 9:30am to meet up with Rich City and Bike East Bay by 10:30am at the Richmond BART station. From there the group will split.  The rare multiple routes available:

Riders can optionally take SMART Train 1 to arrive at 8:35am at Larkspur. There are multiple options back on the train depending in which ride you do. The #6 at 11:30am, #8 at 1pm, #10 at 2:45pm, or #12 at 4:23pm. Bridgette will lead the 33.5 mile and plan to get to Civic Center SMART to catch the 1:13pm train back (we will need to leave Richmond by 11:15

Bring water and snacks

For those doing the long route, the ride goes to Jack London Square to catch the SF Bay ferry to the SF Ferry Building. The fee for the ferry is $4.60, or $2.30 for seniors and can be paid by clipper card, online app, or at the terminal by cash or credit card. There are over 30 bike racks and food and drinks for sale on board.

Short Cut Option with GGB ferry to Larkspur: This ferry leaves either at 1:50pm, back to Larkspur Landing.(Fare: $8.75 adults, $7.00 seniors). This also allows riders to easily make the 2:45pm SMART train back north. 

The Ride Leader will post any changes to the  Club Ride Info Forum (see below) in advance of the ride. If the ride is cancelled, that will also be posted on the forum. The route, including a RwGPS link, will be posted either on this page or on the forum.


PLEASE arrive at LEAST 10 minutes before the ride start time and be ready to ride at the start time.

  • Visitors are welcome on their first club ride without joining the club but must sign this Liability Release. Please print, sign it and give it to the ride leader before the ride. Please note that this privilege may only be used once - you must become a member before attending your second club ride.
