Hello all. The Mountain Goats have decided to do another beginner's ride for the club doing a clockwise loop around Geysers Road. This is very remote so if you have been on the edge about whether you want to do this ride we will escort you around the course at what ever speed works for you as no one will be dropped just like our King Ridge Beginners ride. We will have someone SAGing the ride just in case there is a mechanical. You will want to make sure that your bike is in excellent working condition. To give yourself a fair chance at this ride you should have done some climbing in the weeks before this ride. Hopefully some 40 mile rides with 3000-3500' of climbing. A few good hills would be Los Alamos, Trinity grade to the firehouse, Lichau, Coleman Valley, Ft Ross Rd., Rockpile to name a few. So if you have been considering giving this a go come on out and the Goats will escort you around the course. If we get a good response will start making this another annual ride for beginners. All riders are welcome to join us at every level.
